Flagler Village Living

Lifestyle, Advertisement and Real Estate hub

Brief

When the Flagler Village development was in its infancy, I was commissioned to create a brand-new community hub. This was designed as a space where the owner could blog about the best businesses in the area, publish real estate listings, and sell advertising. It was important that the website had an artistic, community-focused feel. Equally essential was building a platform capable of supporting multiple posts per week, alongside an integrated newsletter.

Reflection

I believe this website had huge potential to become an important community hub. The owner was keen to integrate MLS real estate software, but this ultimately proved unfeasible due to the high costs involved. The site was built at a time when Flagler Village consisted of only a few buildings; today, it is a thriving community, just as the client predicted. Over time, however, posts became less frequent and the website eventually became inactive. As I am no longer closely familiar with the area, I have populated the site with test data for portfolio purposes.
